I've talked to the guy, his gallery is here in New Orleans on Royal Street. He never mentioned any Photoshop work, but then I suppose it's possible. He had videos playing in the gallery of a work in progress, and it didn't look like photoshop would have been required. Cool dude, the lady with the Elephant on her back is his wife.

If you went to his site, there is a big NO CG sign besides every photo, so I think none of then are photoshopped.
