Some of the new features: An opengl playground at the bottom with an experimental"CoverFlow" inspired album selector; The big central area has just been switched to using Plasma, the cool new desktop and widget technology in KDE4; The new playlist.

Seriously, name one itunes feature that is copied.Ignore the coverflow, that was predone code imported for fun from zack-rusin's work. I don't count it since it was never planned to be added.

So would anyone like to recommennd the Linux distro which best supports KDE these days? It ain't Ubuntu, that is for sure. Also I would like to get one with the CFS kernel scheduler, as this is supposed to improve things pretty well. I was thinking about Mepis, but they seem to be pretty out of date.
