As far a I know, this should work equally well on straight ubuntu as on kubuntu, it might just need to pull in a few extra packages: <a class="user" href="http://www.kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2-beta-3">http://www.kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2-beta-3</a>
