Of course, routing all of your traffic through a third party server is usually a bad idea, not to mention the fact that browsers are designed for vertical pages, causing major scroll lag and screwing with flash.Rotate my bank!!!
Woah, this is awesome. I just made the code for CSS3 Sideways Google (<a class="user" href="http://antimatter15.com/misc/rotatedgooglecss3.html)" rel="nofollow">http://antimatter15.com/misc/rotatedgooglecss3.htm ...</a> about 2 weeks ago. I think it's amazing that someone was inspired enough by my code to create an entire site built off of my code. I'm pretty anti-copyright, and this strikes me as the exact reason why I'm against copyright. People do awesome things when free of fear of infringement.Only thing I'm pretty sad about is that something I built managed to grow to 1500 diggs without me knowing about it.
Yay my code! And being the one that made it, yeah, it works on webkit, gecko and trident. Opera's lagging behind on some of the standards. (I didn't make rotateme.org, but I made a little web page that the author of rotateme.org used and copied to make rotateme, and probably was also inspired by it)Anyway, the thing that I thought was innovative when I wrote it, was the JS transform code. Sure i could have probably used the transform-origin property, but I wasn't quite smart enough to get that to work. So I hacked together a little jQuery script to set the iframe's top, left, width, and height properties accordingly for every time the browser window was resized.
