It's definitely legal in Canada since there was a court ruling that downloading, but not uploading, is legal here.In that case, buying from allofmp3.com is legal in Canada, but torrents are not.
Some good things about the list and some bad (in my opinion, of course)...GOOD-Sgt Pepper and Pet Sounds at the top. Hard to really argue about that.-The Zombies "Odessey and Oracle" makes the list at #80! For any of you who are not familiar with this album, you're really missing out!-Gram Parsons makes the list! Even if only at 429, it's great to see him on there.BAD-The Mamas and the Papas' "If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears"(#127), and Simon and Garfunkel's "Bookends"(#233) should have placed much higher.-Courtney Love stealing material from Kurt Cobain without giving him any credit, and still making the top 500. Shameful.-Compilations instead of the original albums.
millixaw actually you're wrong, if you had been following this then you'd know that Russian law allows companies like ROMS to represent artists even without authorization. AoM pays ROMS to license music, it is not doing anything illegal, nor immoral, what ROMS is doing is not illegal but probably is immoral.
I am having this exact problem at least since june 5. What's worse, I have 10 dollars in my balance. I sent them 3 messages asking for help, but until now they didn't answer me (btw, I live in Brazil).

I agree... and The Bends at 101. I would have thought Ok Computer would have been top100.

You are trusting a shady Russian MP3 site to rank the top 500 rock records?

I'm kinda late on commenting the story, but that list of 500 albums wasn't made by allofmp3.. it was made by the rolling stones.

Regardless, it's a damn good list
