Very informative article. It's refreshing to get a first hand account of what's going on in situations like this. Also, it's really nice to see coup without bloodshed.
So, we know that CNN and BBC have been taken off the air. The Thai channels are alternating between patriotic songs and announcements from the coup leader (Gen. Sondhi). The announcements are:Police / the army have seized control of Bangkok for our safety. Power will be returned to the people as soon as possible, and they apologize for the inconvenience. The heads of the various departments of the government (including universities) are to report to the army headquarters at 9AM Wednesday morning. The 20th of Sept. is declared as a national holiday. All government offices, banks, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand will be closed. The powers of the prime minister are transferred to the leader of the coup (Gen. Sondhi). Power for various divisions are transferred to the permanent secretaries of those divisions. The constitution has been suspended. Also suspended are the constitutional court, cabinet, senators and house of representatives. Other courts remain active.--------------Internet and telecommunications are supposed to be halted completely around 4AM (in half an hour) So yeah, apparently in an hour I won't have any internet or telecommunications of any kind. Yay. The people NOT involved in the coup will know more than those actually living in the damn country. Classic...
My In-laws are immigrants from Thailand, when they talked to family over there they said that all the news stations have been shut down and that the tanks are all over Bangkok. They told everyone to stay inside their houses, but they also believed it was a good thing, for the most part, that the PM was being pushed out of office. If i get any inside stuff ill post in this comment section.

Is it still safe to f**k whores over there? That's all that dump was good for. I've f**ked five in my time. Two of them were good looking.
