Pokemon rocks. Not too many RPGs have as much depth and variety in game-play. The cool thing is that you can choose to use cutesy pokemon to beat the snot out of people or you can use beasts like Gyarados to murder everybody in your path. Most people who dislike Pokemon probably haven't even played it. They've probably only ever seen commercials for the [really lame] tv show. Ignore the TV show, try Pokemon and see for yourself if it's just for kids.

The Game Boy games were actually pretty good, but the TV show and the whole fad surrounding it just killed it for me.

The series just started again a few months ago (season 5.)
