nasa.gov — WASHINGTON -- NASA has scheduled a media teleconference Wednesday, May 14, at 1 p.m. EDT, to announce the discovery of an object in our Galaxy astronomers have been hunting for more than 50 years. Hmm, SETI program started 50 years ago, could we have FINALLY found aliens?

It could be Planet X.SETI wasn't looking for an object, they were looking for a signal.Maybe they found direct evidence of a black-hole or it's highly-visible accretion disk? They did say they used the Chandra X-Ray observatory, and finding black-holes is one thing it could do well.

What, a hole with a event horizon the size of a golf-ball? It would have to be right on top of us for Chandra to see that.

Hmmmm....it just so happens we're coming up to the 50th anniversary of NASA eh? Far too convenient. I call shenanigans. They found it a while ago and have been holding onto it. Cue: Stewie Griffin fantasy cutscene.
