reuters.com — U.S. actor Alec Baldwin says he has lost interest in acting and is quitting. He told Playboy Magazine this year he was "done" with his career and would retire at the 30 Rock's wrap party. "I consider my entire movie career a complete failure," he also told Men's Journal.

Acting career a failure? He must be thinking of his marriage to Kim Basinger.

He was in a movie with Jack Lemon, Kevin Spacey, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris and Al Pacino. and the only performance that anyone remembers is his. That alone makes his entire career worthwhile. If you go to any financial institution and ask any seller to recite 1 line in a movie that resembles the corporate greed that they see day to day, they would say "A-B-C. A-Always, B-Be, C-Closing. Always be closing, always be closing." I assure you they haven't seen the play. Michael Douglass won an Oscar for his role as Gordon Gekko and even he wasn't able to capture the stone cold greed of sales that Alec Baldwin was able to showcase.
