huffingtonpost.com — Saturday Night Live is a comedy show. It's not Meet the Press. It doesn't "ask the tough questions" or "set the agenda." It attempts, with varying degrees of success, to make people laugh. That's it. Whether they skewer and savage people in order to do so, they don't care.

Really? Because I'm pretty sure they've all been banned from Hollywood, and don't get invited to any of the award shows anymore.

Being able to show due respect to ones adversary's, you show grace and decorum. It would appear that is a trait lost on many today. Not only did Mr. Baldwin show respect, even if out of courtesy, he showed it and Dr. Kissinger appreciated it and thanked him for it. It should not be lost on our leaders. Ever. Ms. Palin does not seem to carry this trait, and should in her position. Going on SNL (to me) at this point in time shows lack of class and decorum. She is running for the second highest office in the nation. She should be doing something more productive like giving and insightful interview instead of doing a stab at comedy. What is it they say about comedy? Timing is everything? Ms. Palin has really bad timing. Mr. Baldwin on the other hand, it would appear, has perfect timing in more ways than one!
