Oh yes Obama has done something in the Senate... You had better take back your words you big meanie. Obama has helped to get Fatty Mae and Freddy MacDaddy executives nice salaries, probably more than you and I will ever earn in a year. He has helped people to live in nice slums with broken toilets with out his help they probably would be living in a homeless shelter with free food prepared by some evil Christian. He has helped spend the money you earn each year on projects as important as leaving unwanted babies alone to die in peace in a linen closet. And Barack has presented us with words of wisdom like the most beautiful sound is the sound of the call to evening prayers which for your information sounds a lot like a line from the theme song of George of the Jungle.
Because he knows that the best time to make a mind-changing revelation is too late in the campaign season for the other guy to do anything about it.His timing is perfect. Perfect! And timing is everything in war--and that's exactly what this election is, a war.
Well this is an interesting video indeed. McCain is right. Obama is all talk. McCain has finally started showing some teeth. But can you really say that the recent work done with the passage of the Bailout is a good thing? This bill was bloated with pork (100 billion dollars for wood arrows and rum) and the markets responded to passage negatively and continue to do so. In addition it could not be stipulated that this money be used exclusively for local debt and property by threat of veto. So the value of our money could drop to satisfy foreign debts. Obama didn't need to suspend his campaign because both times his party voted overwhelmingly for the bill. House republicans defeated it the first time and understandibly so as some of them are still free market conservatives. I just don't see what Obama being in on this could have done to change the outcome. McCain, however, needed this bill to pass because he had claimed victory prematurely on the first bill's anticipated passage, which flopped. Personally I really don't think the bill will do anything. The amount given is not even near enough to have any effect. The market continues to plunge.
