There could be another consequence of taking Action A even though GCC is true; It doesn't change enough environmental conditions and we still end up with the same negative result from Action B combined with the natural negative result of Action A.That scenario would tip the scales towards Action B, imo. Of course, that man wouldn't dare say that we couldn't stop GCC even if we wanted to, because that's.... bad, for some reason. In actuality it means the GCC is a natural phenomenon, and that human will is so weak in comparison to natural barriers that we don't effect GCC at all.
Energy in the US isn't a multi-trillion dollar industry to begin with... So it'd be pretty difficult for it to cost trillions, especially when you look at the economy as a whole where it has already caused hundreds of millions in investments in new technology with more being invested every day.
Oh god the thoroughly debunked "Oregon Petition" again...And even if it were true, 30,000 scientists out of a total of 22 million in the USA is infinitessimal. I like how the guy being interviewed says "We have 30,000 scientists lined up to debunk global warming". BIG f**kING DEAL. I can "line up to debunk" whatever you pay me to. Nowhere does he say anything about ACTUAL peer-reviewed science.Global warming deniers are the new flat earthers.
I love how the best theory f**kin morons can come up with as to why climate change is a "hoax" is that it's all some eeeevil plan to launch a global "carbon tax". So basically the eeevil bastards in power (cause we know they're eeevil) have spent DECADES and BILLIONS of dollars creating a hoax in order to collect one or two bucks per person per month? So um.. Why didn't they just come up with something simpler? Or if they were so eeeevil why didn't they just impose the tax? Why all this skulduggery and deception? Occam's razor people.. It would be far cheaper and easier, and it wouldn't have taken 50 years of 'fabricating' the science (a conspiracy involving MILLIONS of people and thousands of research projects over decades). I'm beginning to draw a correlation with the number of zealous religious people (read : morons) and climate change deniers in the USA. It actually makes a lot of sense that there are more morons in that country per capita than anywhere else in the industrialised world.

Ok, here are a few... http://www.cgd.ucar.edu/ccr/publications/meehl_add ...http://www.csag.uct.ac.za/~daithi/papers/StoneDA_A ...http://www.csag.uct.ac.za/~daithi/papers/GillettNP ...http://www.springerlink.com/content/k8k1532833g845 ...http://www.agu.org/pubs/crossref/2004/2004GL019998 ...This is just a small sample, I'm not going to spend all day tracking them down. Did you really think there weren't any? Despite all attempts to turn this into some sort of conspiracy or bipartisan political issue, the global scientific consensus is overwhelmingly that anthropogenic climate change exists. In science, theories/hypotheses can only be disproven, and only with sound science. Your turn?

@lostlyrics:that's good stuff... still think the IPCC is up to no good and the Globalist Carbon Tax is a political WMD

Puterprsn : a weather man knows more than the scientific community at large? You're a f**king moron.
