In Canada, a controller at in a place like Toronto Center makes about 85k starting. That's a job that requires no post-secondary and about 2 years of training done in house. Most controllers make 150k+ or so when you start adding on overtime. It's a very well paying job with lots of benefits, at least on this side of the boarder.

Hmm... wouldn't an upgrade in air-communications technology allow for further economic expansion for the airlines and assorted companies?Seeing corporate, carrier, and airlines all upgrade technology's would be quite nice and make the public feel more secure.
