arstechnica.com— We revisited the PS3 and now it's the Wii's turn. How is the Nintendo Wii faring two months after launch? Is the honeymoon over yet?

I'm only about 4 hours into TP and I love it so far, but I can understand what the article was talking about with the "rudimentary" control scheme.Playing Wii Sports/WarioWare with friends still can't be beat though!
Virtual Console alone has justified my purchase of the system, we have been having a blast playing the old games. Hell, the sole reason we bought 4 wiimotes was to play wireless bomberman!NES ZeldaSNES ZeldaMario BrosSuper Mario BrosDonkey KongF-ZeroStreet Fighter 2Eco the DolphinBomberman 93Its fun slowly replaying all these games!
My 3 year old got a hold of my wiimote and went 'playing' Somehow he managed to format the disk - I lost all my saved games.I had put about 20 hours into Twilight princess ... that was 2 months ago ... I still haven't brought myself to play it again - didn't care for it at all. I play Wii Sports, Call of Duty, and Rampage mostly now (faster paced games I can get into for a half hour or so at a time)
The Wii is impossible to find. The fact that controllers are impossible too says even more. I don't think the honeymoon is even close to over. I have 4 friends that want to pick one up, but don't want to wait in lines. Contrast that with the PS3. I know one person who has one, and now wishes he had a Wii. He can't find any games he likes for the PS3, but he's always stopping by to play Wii Sports. As a side note, Nintendo needs more games like Wii Sports. Simple and addictive as all hell. I've had to stop playing it because my shoulder hurt so bad.
I second the Rayman Raving Rabbids comment. In fact, those are the three Wii games that I own. I'm thinking about WarioWare: Smothe Moves, but at this point I'm not going to pay $50 for it without knowing more about it. Any testimonials would be appreciated.
I went to the electronics section at Target yesterday, there were 10 PS3s collecting dust on the shelf and no Wiis, the guy behind the counter said the PS3s had been there for 2 weeks, yet they restocked 4 Wiis that morning and they were gone by 10AM.
i got mine the other day at target as well.. I picked one up for me, then called a friend and said 'if you want one, tell me right now' and bought one for her.. I considered picking the third up to scalp but then realized I am not a f**khead assh**e opportunist. I just hope it went to a good home.. mine did.
