Maybe I'm being a bit cynical, but I'm not sure what role the gyro stabilization is playing in these photos. I've worked with professional photographers shooting hand-held (both low ISO film, and top-end digital SLR) from both helicopters and light aircraft, and they came out razor sharp. This seems a bit self-promotional more than anything else. Also, I checked what I can from your site, and I didn't actually see the gyro mentioned anywhere. This may be due to the fact that the pages are not loading.
OK, I can't see the photos, but it doesn't seem very impressive. Of course photos and video from a large heli using expensive equipment is going to look good. What to see some really impressive stuff? Check out this: http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t32252p1/Sure, it's 90 pages long, but there are some really good photos in there, and they all (except a small few, where noted) are taken from RC helis, often using piezoelectric "gyros" that sense the rotation and adjust the camera mount servos.
It's funny how people are replying to first comments just as a way to get their comment at the top. For example, carguy84's reply had nothing to do with the parent comment. It's quite clever, actually, I do it sometimes. I'm just worried everyone is going to figure it out and the whole point vanishes.Maybe I shouldn't have written this as no one seemed to notice about carguy84 okay ill shutup..
