techcrunch.com — Adography is essentially a marketplace where people can put their amateur photos up for sale, while businesses can put out requests for photos by creating so-called ?want-ads?. You can find an example of a listing here, which includes the image specifications, asking price, and more. The service is free for people who upload their photos.......

This is a fantastic idea for wanna-be photographers, but the website itself seems rather poorly designed and, at the moment, supported.

most of the photos on here are VERY amateur. and the fact that the site owns your work for 12 months is a huge minus. novel idea, aint gonna use it.

The only difference I can see between this site and something like iStockPhoto or Getty is there's a "request" for images section. Big deal. They've only got 5 requests as it is. The photography on this site is shockingly bad - snapshot bad - and and besides, if a business wants an image of a family playing minigolf, there's more than likely oodles of them on istockphoto or similar. So, arena84, how much did you get paid for this?
