i assume you dont know what the sentence means ... ?pretty much time is quite a lot of time. is it really that hard to work out? forgive me if you meant it doesnt take long.

I don't see anywhere in there where i said i don't use photoshop for my graphic design work. I usually start with illustrator, just because it IS way easier to manipulate the assets in the project as far as layout goes. I also used to work in production at a newspaper and i understand why you would say that indesign and quark are what you use for layout, but only if a majority of your layout involves massive amounts of text. for the most part, that isn't the case when doing a majority of graphic design. good arguments none the less
