blogs.adobe.com— Looks like all of the products are going to be rebranded with the "periodic-table-meets-the-rainbow" theme in the near future.

"The icons are fine, and nicely done"Sorry you haven't a f**king clue what you are talking about, a good icon needs to be identifiable purely from a silhouette and should never require the user to read it.These break every rule for good icon design in the book.
Antgoo:I would say that your not a designer actually. Now you will never find anyone more vocal about minimalism or modernism than me, plain type design and grid systems are what I live for. However these icons are utter trashFirstly the most easily identifiable aspect of an icon is its shape, these are all square so they fail at that hurdle.Colour is a bad signifier in this case because the changes are so subtle that they are likely to be lost in LCD colour shift. Also the colour branding and colour wheel imply some thought was actually put into the colours but in reality they have absolutely no meaning what so ever. So you can't glance down and think "blue means development, orange means print design" to identify an application. Most of all, you should never have to read an icon, they should be language independent because an image can be identified hundreds of times faster than type.If you think these are remotely good then you haven't the slightest grasp of icon design and therefore logo design. I'd imagine you are more of an art-worker/illustrator so stay away from design that requires actual consideration and justification alright?
The new adobe icons plain suck. Totally behind the times, lame, corporate branding b.s. And not even very good branding. Considered alone, one of the icons could be 'OK', but as a group, the entire thing is alphabet soup and looks TERRIBLE!Bring back the eye!
