With SAP’s announcement to enable embedding of Flex applications in their WebDynpro UI framework we will see a further surge of Flex adoption in the enterprise.

I know Adobe will expand the capabilities of AIR. I believe it has promise. The principal advantages of AIR are portability and ease of deployment.
