Because Nick, physical money is the root of all evil; get rid of physical money, institute a society of consequence rather than that of laws, and overnight you fix nearly every other single problem that exists in this world...racism gone, corruption gone, poverty gone, crime (real crimes that is) gone, war gone...people rewarded for what they do for others (give), rather than what they do to others (take)...a hard change for many to accept, but refreshing once done... You can read about the plan of how to accomplish the removal of physical money and put a better system in place in this book that my friend wrote; Invisible Hand: http://www.lulu.com/content/372669Free read here; http://www.unc.edu/~mason/hand/hand.html
Hmmm the credit card companies used monetary pressure to stop The Discovery Chanel from producing the show, why can't all of us consumers put monetary pressure on the credit card companies to produce and show it. If thousands of Diggers emailed all of the major credit card companies they just might change their mind. Remember money talks bullsh*t walks. Vote with your dollars.
I don't understand how people get off saying their tests aren't scientific. What they do is exactly what science is all about, testing hypotheses. The moon hoax myth episode was a perfect example of this: conspiracy theorist has a hypothesis - only multiple light sources could've produced the shadows seen on still photography from the moon. The mythbusters construct an experiment to test it, prove the hypothesis false. They even have some kind of peer review, in that the viewers of the show critique everything that they do, which then produces feedback for them to retest some myths in ways they hadn't thought of before. What more could you ask for, really?Maybe it's just because I'm an engineer like Jamie....ok, no where near that good but still.
This is important shiz, we should all be paying very close attention. For whatever reason all of these companies and our government have been chomping at the bit to adopt RFID tech waaaaay too prematurely. It definitely needs a light shined in its direction. The credit card companies sure do like selling their 'identity protection' insurance though. DO NOT BUY THAT CRAP PLEASE and pressure your legislators to clamp down on this scheme (or just don't use their products at all, if you can resist).
So true... I mean, it sucks but people need to take accountability too. It's a double edged sword. When we win (credit easy to get), we lose because those who shouldn't get it abuse it... http://www.creditimpress.comhttp://www.electsolutions.nethttp://www.1023e.com - but at the same time... Great info to use! lol - so sad, but true!!!
