smashingmagazine.com — This post is a collection of ad management plug-ins for WordPress, Movable Type, Drupal and Joomla! to get your started. At the end are a few tutorials for creating your own banner ad rotation scripts in PHP and ASP (so that even if a plug-in is not available for your CMS of choice, you?ll likely be able to build your own).

You're using chrome + adsweep. Adsweep is not compatible with the current version of chrome. Not sure if it will be either. Thank you.

@Wesside,Strange behavior for FF + adblock plus. Might want to re-install the plugin or have a look at your rules.

Never had an issue with it for anything else. Except ads not showing up (and as such the ads posted into diggs stories)

Blocking ads from Google is the height of hypocracy. The same people who block those ads use Google constantly. Google has spent billions of dollars making sure their ads are not obtrusive, spammy, loud, blinking or even competing with the content of the page. In fact, contextual ads complement the content of the page. Using Adblock to filter Google ads is just urinating on someone else's building. Nothing more. (We'll bypass the redundant hypocracy of noting the ad for Adblock)

Internet advertising makes quite a lot of money for many people. Google and Yahoo both drive most of their revenue from Ads. Don't knock it. Learn how to do it. Many people do ignore ads. However, some do click on ads. Not everyone is a rebel.:)
