Not trying to be a tool, but not being allowed to sell things in a *market* does not sound even remotely logical, especially in a so-called free economy. Oh wait. You're not free. I keep forgetting what with all the propaganda.

Pfft. I'm in favor of impeachment as much as the next person but this has nothing to do with favorable sides, it has to do with failure to have a permit for a sale (which I'll admit is stupid) and this guy's obvious attempt at making himself visible. I bet tons of these incidents non-politically related occur every day but you just don't read about them cause ... well .. no one effing cares. This guy is a stooge. He could have easily NOT been arrested if he would just stand up and talk to the police in a normal, civilized fashion. Instead he choose to be a moron. I bet he's telling this story to all his friends now about how he "got arrested for his beliefs". /buried

They tried, they do not have the votes to override a veto. The only other thing they could have done with Iraq is completely deny funding by not passing a new funding bill.... probably should have done that I guess.

why couldn't he just get the permit?

Hey good job spinning a story to further a political agenda!

Dude should trade his buttons for some fresh produce!

except that nowhere in the article does it say that he was "arrested for selling impeachment buttons" which is the title of this submission.
