Superman is emo.The movie isn't "dark and brooding". The new Superman movie is all about Superman pining for some MILF who is split between her husband and her old flame superman. And Superman is all "aw, poor me... shucks... the girl of my dreams doesn't want me anymore... I'm nothing now!".Seriously. It's like one giant Superman meets Myspace.And dude. Don't tell me what emo is. I run one of the largest goth sites on the planet and if anyone hates emo kids, it's a goth. :)Now, don't get me wrong - I actually liked the new superman as far as the kid playing him. I thought he did a great job bringing a new superman out of hiding in the shadow of Christopher Reeves. But man... if I wanted to watch some myspace lovefest drama, I'd have... well... sat around and read myspace pages. The movie itself was awful, despite some great performances by the actors.
Wow, what a different (bad) origin. Superman raised in an orphanage instead of by Ma and Pa Kent. I wonder which retelling of the origin added the Kents and spent more time describing Krypton? Superman: The Movie's origin sequence craps all over this one-pager origin.
"Emo" is yet another meaningless non-word that posters on here like to throw around instead of expanding their puny vocabularies with legitimate words.
