YMMV. Ubuntu Dapper/Edgy installs great on my Compaq laptop, as it did on a Toshiba Tecra and a few others I tried. Similarly, SuSE has been known not to install well on some laptops.So, let's stop these distro wars and agree that both SuSE and Ubuntu are polished distros, that install well on most laptops, but that there's still some work to be done before they install on EVERY laptop, all right?
