wow.. yeah I was wondering why peoples pictures of their creatures looked so complex, and why I just saw a ton of little dots. Eventualy I landed on it being a problem with the flash player, but it would be lovely if the site breathed a mention of that somewhere.

You don't. They know that Mac users aren't stupid enough to fall for a "game" that consists of eating things for half an hour.

I guess you guys haven't read my thesis yet. It's not about little fish evolving but a methodology in game design based on psychology. :p<a class="user" href="http://www.jenovachen.com/flowingames/flowing.htm">http://www.jenovachen.com/flowingames/flowing.htm</a>

I beat the main boss without ever eating anything. It's actually easier that way. With your lowest level creature, only eat the red "float down" mobs, then eat the boss.

ozid, are they poops or babies? I wasn't sure, so I ate them anyway.whoatemydigg, your theory that I registered specifically to post that is interesting, but somewhat undermined by the existence of earlier posts under this user name. I'm glad that Jenova's authorship of this thread brings you joy. You should say "fagots", if you're really committed to advertising your bigotry, as Jenova and I are two separate people. Possibly you should also come to terms with your own sexuality, and embrace it. There's a big wide world out there beyond the closet, and a big handsome man somewhere out there waiting to share it with you.

Sure, the concept is a tribute to spore. The point of the project is to implement a game design, not a concept, so I don't see anything wrong with that. The game sucks you right in. I like how you don't need instructions to figure it out. Sadly, it's simple and linear nature makes for a game with no repeat value. Things I'd like to see added:1) A way for food/ enemies to replenish, so that you can slowly build your creature up so as to be in a more secure position before approaching enemies, if the player wishes.3) An inset window, or some other way of seeing a larger area than the immediate one.4) An ending. This may include some sort of point total.

I finally beat the game, I kind of hoped there would be a 3rd level though. Oh well great game anyways. Here's my battle with the final boss.<a class="user" href="http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=circlecreature3rq3.jpg">http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=circlecreature3rq3.jpg</a>and then once I beat it.<a class="user" href="http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=circlecreature4mf5.jpg">http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=circlecreature4mf5.jpg</a>

I stopped somewhere near the end of this guy, I have no clue what would happen if I beat that really long worm again.

I like the idea of combining the credits with this simple game. I would like to see more game/website combinations like this. Here is another example flavour.nl
