excellent read, but not really new. +digg for interesting. Heres the delemna, do you reduce ticket prices and add more advertising (attract more customers), or do you raise ticket prices and reduce advertising?
I Do Not go to see movies at the theater. I've got a large screen TV a nice Bose sound system and when I want to pee I hit pause. Oh yeah, the beers cold too.
I work at a movie theater currently and I love getting the question "dont you think those prices are ridiculous" because I always say "yea i do but, your still going to buy it." Until people stop paying for the food the theaters will never lower the prices. And with more directors/actors/and film studios wanting more of the box office money, the theaters make no money off of tickets. I remember when the last star wars movie came out george lucas took 99% of tickets sales for himself. Its not the theaters fault its the movie makers fault.
i was wondering if you could tell me how much (on average or specifics) it cost to lease a movie including shipping and all that stuff im doing a research paper and i would really appreciate it! or if anyone else could help that would be great!!!!!!!! thanks
