bloggingstocks.com — The blogosphere and tech press are totally psyched over the pending release of an Apple tablet or pad computer -- one that will "change the world" no less. But nobody is asking the question of usage problems. If an Apple tablet is announced in January and released shortly thereafter, are the wireless networks the device will run on be overwhelmed?

I suffer from that syndrome. But using a MacBook Pro with the big touchpad is no problem. The iPhone was no problem as well. The magic mouse is a REAL problem though.Regarding the 'tablet', I don't expect it to be a problem.

What would be really great is if you could use the same 3G subscription for your iPhone (if you have one) with the tablet or the other way around, though I doubt anyone wants another device using AT&T.

Why specifically the "Apple" tablet? Has everyone not seen how many companies are pushing tablets nowadays???

That is silly. Data networks are busy sending almost 20x more spam emails than actual emails, and most of that spam email is viruses -so fix them. Plus, botnets waste bandwidth so get rid of Conficker and right there you have eliminated 7 million botnet nodes. Plenty of bandwidth then, and suddenly - almost 10 millionf Windows PCs are running faster for some strange reason. Everybody wins!

I think you have hit the nail on the head. However, since people have bought 3 billion iPhone apps in well under 2 years - I think it is safe to say the reason the product is bought has something to do with the software.Nails do not really sell for much.
