I just wish people would stop bitching because they like a different browser than someone else. Who cares?! I say use what you like and dont worry about the other guy and what browser he uses. If one browser doesnt work for you, move on to a different one. Dont sit and whine about it. Firefox is a great browser. I use it everyday. It does what I want it to do which is to surf the internet and THAT'S IT. Every webpage I go to works just fine in Firefox so I have no complaints except that it does in fact use quite a bit of memory to run but that isnt really a problem for me since all my computers have at least 2Gb of RAM. :-)
I am not a very advanced user to notice under-the-hood differences - but the tabs blend pretty well ..a little too well ...it could use a different/darker/lighter colour because it is easy to confuse it with the bookmarks toolbar. CPU Util goes up to 6-9% when the browser is used and the hard drive reads seem to be more than 1.5.
You can run all the old extensions and themes if you have the nightly build tester kit. (Not sure if that's the exact name, and I forget where to get it at) It allows you to install all the 1.0 and 1.5 themes/extensions.
hahaha, i like how in tab management, ie reminds you your using it by changing page icons to this annoying ass E with a gay circleish thing. I mean come on, give us some freedom to view our webpage icons.

I'm using it now...Greasemonkey has been updated but is still in beta....Here are links to 2 of the really popular extensions that have been upgraded for Firefox 2.0. Firefox 2.0 rc2 runs blazing fast.
