At my parties we have two types, the guys who thinks being a douchebag is somehow going to make others like him more, and the ones who just do really stupid s**t, like hang out windows, and at one we had three guys trying to ride( or falling off) a unicycle.
I don't know about America, but here in England drinking from a plastic cup/bottle is infinitely preferable to having a glass one inserted into your face by some overly violent chav on a drinking binge.Also, at raves and other events where people are caught up with dancing and enjoying the music rather than getting as drunk as possible and pulling some 16 year old who's had a case full of bright pink alco-pops and is now flat on her face in her own vomit, glass presents a major hazard as people tend to discard bottles and cups on the floor where they can be easily trodden or slipped upon.
