mydreamapp.com — Austin Sarner posted an update today about progress on Cookbook for Mac and it's looking sweet! He announced Wolfgang Bartelme (designer of the TextMate icon) as the lead designer. And there's a Flickr group that shows the evolution of the app.

People who use expose a lot find the differing border colours to help with spotting the right app. I think it's helpful that way and I only wished I could have more control over my app colors so that it would be ever easier to switch apps.

Tubular is being developed by Steve Streza (a.k.a. AmazingSyco) but he is friends with Austin Sarner, Jason Harris, John Casasanta (red), and Phill Ryu. They are all working on My Dream App / MacHeist (I & II)Yet... Steve is developing Tubular pretty slowly. And I don't think it was right for him to charge people for a private, crappy beta. The MacHeist bundle was awesome though. They did a great job on that.

The wood skin reminds me of Delicious Library.

You signed up on Digg nine days ago, submitted a story about this YummySoup app the same day; 50% of your diggs have been about YummySoup, and your only comment on Digg is this one - promoting YummySoup :) Are you, by any chance, the developer?

I think it's because the kitchen metaphor simply works in this case. I was sceptical "on principle" first, but it feels very "kitcheny" to me, and it works. Bold, but beautiful, at least to me.

My fiance and I love having french press coffee in the morning and that's pretty much the only way we'll have our coffee at home (unless we're having lattes using this: Bialetti Cappuccino and Latte Set). So when we're in a bit of a hurry, waiting on the kettle to boil on the electric stove for 8 minutes can be a tad annoying. So I decided to invest in this Proctor Silex Kettle and I think it boils at full capacity in about 4 minutes. The maximum fill quantity is also perfect for our french press: Bodum New Kenya 34-Ounce Coffee Press, Black. We're both impressed with its abilities and we've been using it almost daily since we got it. Definitely recommend it:) more info http://astore.amazon.com/proctor.silex.kettle-20
