plurk.com — With a name like Plurk, you don't quite know what to expect and well that's just it. The site playfully fun, weird and addictive all at the same time. But I think after a while you'll hit the information overload brickwall pretty quickly.

Twitter, but on your adorable fifth grade timeline project. Someone on plurk astutely declared: "If plurk falls down in an empty forest, will someone twitter it?"

So far I like it. I just joined Twitter and Plurk because so many people had asked me about them. I wasn't sure what I would like about either. So far I like 2 aspects: as a real night owl, I like seeing if anyone else is up and about; as a digger, I enjoy getting a more personal perspective on some of my friends. I do like the Plurk timeline, as I'm mostly active on my laptop and not my phone so the visual is appreciated.
