Agreed! The case they use was rated by a couple review sites (forget the link, its in TVease forums) as one of the quietest cases they reviewed. They talk about it in the last linux action show.
I thought that was a typo myself, but a quick Google turns up http://www.kat5.tv/ Looks like it's a central video distribution system based on Cat5 cabling.Unless I'm jumping an assumption and that really is a typo. :-
Can anybody figure out where these guys are located? Can anyone find an actual address? All I can see is a very badly configured osCommerce installation, with ONE product that appears to be out of stock.I can't even figure out where they'd be shipping from -- assuming they ever *do* ship.
and so you can add that on to the bare bones Hannibal or you can pay more for the Hannibal duece for $699.00 which has a dual tuner card, a Happauge PVR MCE 550. If you were to pay more for the pre-built system, then you wouldn't have to deal with setting up the hardware (which is the point of buying a pre-built system.)
Damn, I searched Digg looking for this after seeing it a long time ago. Looks like the company didn't make it, here's the latest:" We apologize but TVease.net is no longer incorporated. We have filed bankruptcy as a company. I do sincerely apologize to everyone that wanted a machine from us. We tried our absolute best to meet all orders. In the end, it became to much for one person to manage and accomplish. Again, I do apologize. For individuals with outstanding orders. Please request a refund from your credit card company. You should have no issues getting a full and complete refund."

Yep, 1080i isn't much good for anything. Stick with the P's if you want quality HD.
