i'm in said apple store right now. its nice to live on Long Island, where a trip to the city is only 40 minutes away...i should set all the computer's homepage to digg.com....
i stopped by the samsung store last year. i kept asking the staff "where can i get this cellphone, is it for sale?" and was met with a lot of "umms" and "ahhhs". it's retarded to not be able to actually purchase a product from a STORE. i left feeling with a strange feeling of wanting the stuff (especially the cool cell phones) and being disappointed that a company would advertise products that you can't purchase. HUH?
i wonder if theres a dress code for Apple Store employees..cuz the last one i went into everyone looked like a steve jobs wannabe...all black and rimless glasses
I loved the article Ars Technica put together. The writer has a great sense of humor that made me laugh. For example:"Though the line was long, it paled in comparison to the snakelike queue at checkout, where fantastic sums of cash changed hands and beautiful cardboard boxes were passed across counters. Once the new purchase was in hand, folks smiled with cult-like bliss as they clung to their new toys and rode the Wonka-like elevator back out of the fairy-tale kingdom and into the heart of a hectic New York afternoon."Very Good Read!

I actually expected the NY Apple store to be more chrome, stainless steel, glass and leather. *shrugs*
