Um, not to be a dick, but I saw this documentary about the World Wide Recorder Concert and in that, a bunch of kids produced the brown note using their recorders.

You could feel it though, which I think is the point. It could also provide what you might call high infrabass reinforcement, since it could produce output at the barely audible frequencies where a regular sub rolls off.
