My Dahon, or my Downtube.http://www.downtube.com/(I don't actually own a Downtube, but I covet one. Quite a bit cheaper than a Dahon for a comparable setup, and the CEO of the company does his own reputedly extensive customer service.)The Strida is a cool-looking machine but I've been told it's hell to ride, by someone working at a bike shop that sold them. It definitely has its fans, though.
We have another 4-bike rack -- the kind where you have to lift the bikes onto hangers -- that is a big pain to use. The bikes are too close together, and it takes a LOT of manhandling to get the bikes up on the hangers and then pushing and pulling to get them to fit together. The end result was that we hardly ever used it. We bought the Swagman XC-4 and now the problem is solved. It's a LOT easier to get the bikes up into the tire carriers, the bikes are placed farther apart, and the hold-downs are fully adjustable for ANY kind or size of bike you might have. Now we're using our new rack a lot, and we're going on LOTS more bike rides. And that's what it's all about, right?more info http://astore.amazon.com/swagman.bike.rack-20

Here's a folding bike with chainless technology. A great combination:http://dynamicbicycles.com/buy/Bikes.php?prodid=60No chain to get you dirty or maintenance. The bikes look cool. Don't have one, would love to ride one, but the are only sold online.

I like the Swift Folder bike (also sold as the Xootr). I don't have one yet as I'm still debating if I want a bike. But this one is good, I test rode it around the Village in NYC. It folds up pretty nicely to fit in my Manhattan apartment and it is a solid bike and rides super smooth. Check out these pages for more info:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swift_folderhttp://www.xootr.com/xootr/swift/folding.shtml
