esquire.com — A cop, of all people, crunches the numbers to help discover that America's prohibition of narcotics may be costing more lives than Mexico's ? and nearly enough dollars to fund universal health care. So why NOT repeal our drug laws? This guy has the right idea.

"I told Franklin I was surprised to hear a cop express so much sympathy for drug addicts. Even pro-drug types don't do that much. "I do have sympathy," he says. "What they're dealing with is a health issue, not a criminal issue. And as long as you treat it as a criminal issue, we're treating the symptom and not the cause."f**k yes. And this is true of FAR more than just drugs.

If you legalize all drugs then it would prove Darwin right, all the heroine and meth junkies die. The real problem with drugs is letting people know that evolution, and natural selection are the truth.

Cocaine *was* the cool party drug, and it became uncool as sure as every other fad, for pretty much the same reason; it makes users look at least as silly as parachute pants.

Yes it does. You are not going to be born with a meth addiction (except in rare circumstances). With the amount of information out there now a days, an educated person would not use meth.
