I love the fact your annoyed, annoying Libs like yourself and foreigners who have there own major troubles but stick there tiny appeasing noses into other countries short comings, like Obamagate buying his way in is also not to surprizing. I did like James Bond though.
It's not surprising or scary -- it's because Americans lost their patience with establishment politicians and wanted a leader that hadn't spent a decade schmoozing. That's why Obama beat Clinton for the nomination while McCain was depicted as a 'maverick' and picked a nobody from a remote state as his running-mate.
