So if i buy less per trip, then i need to continually go to the grocery store every day and use fossil fuels and create carbon emissions.Make up your mind, hippies.
I honestly don't see how that poster helps in any way to educate or help people to buy more economically, except using the shock value of rotting food to attract attention. Raise your hand if you have totally mastered the art of buying just what you need, instead of trying to look more than one day ahead, so you have some food stores away for future meals. I mean, If I only buy waht I need that day, wouldn't I have to go to the store every day and thus waste more gas?I dunno, I think it would be a good idea to just try to educate people what's the smart way to buy food for yourself, family, etc. Didn't they used to do this back int he day in home ec?

I think that most people who buy a lot at Costco either have large families or are running restaurants.
