@ SeumasIf given the choice between my enemy carpet-bombing my cities and pinpointing legitimate military and logistical targets so as to minimize loss of life on my side, I would certainly prefer the latter. Of course giving the enemy what he wants may not be the best way to win a war.

If your stupid government put as much effort into looking after the health system, social & welfare of it's own people as they did into the technology of killing people, then your country and, I imagine, the world, would be a much better place.

The idea is that the soldier sees the thing he's shooting at. That's sort of the way most weapons work.
