How can the PS2 be killing the PS3 when most likely sony are using the profits to push and support the PS3? That is kind of a stupid idea. The money goes to the same company who then decides how to spend the money.
"I personally elected not to upgrade to any of the "new gen" systems, mainly because I really didn't see an incredible drastic improve in graphics/gameplay (PS > PS2 "and you never will. The jumps will always be minimal nowadays.
Correct, i've seen a few on Ebay before (try searching model number) but they want 600-800 dollars for it. Still though in the long run it is cheaper than a TIVO subscription.

I doubt they'll be able to make a PS3 that thin by 2012.
