Better question: How soon can we get OpenGL ported to it, and how soon can they spin a 8:1 reduction of that core with a single DDR2 controller and a 16x PCI-E unit?
er.. Transputer anyone? this concept is 25 years old (as are most ideas in systems btw). Transputers had similar connected architecture with systems built on this same processor/memory duality. Only diff is that the materials science guys got 64 of them to fit on one chip now. Yawn.
