I had my internet cut off a couple of years ago, I forgot to pay the bill or something. Then I decided to see how long I could go without it. I kept a piece of paper on my desk and throughout the day I would jot down everything I needed to do on the internet that day ie download drivers/answer email/look up information/book things and once a day I went to the local internet cafe and, as I couldn't sit there for hours on end messing about I just got the stuff done and went home again. My house was immaculate, everything was up to date and organised, I had time for reading, seeing friends, watching all the gazillions of dvds that I've downloaded and never watched.Then I got it reconnected. You can guess the rest.

Yeah I just got 1000 free hours for the first month of AOL! There's not even 1000 hours in a month but I'll be spending them on the interwebs!

Why do I see no mention of 'real world' addicts. Those people that spend so much time outside. It's a disturbing problem.
