Downtown Ann Arbor used to have what I think might have been the first attempt at an architecturally tolerable McDonalds. The building is still there (IIRC) but no longer a McDonalds. The building had two floors, with the entire second floor being a loft-like balcony overlooking the lines for food. During the days of active students, the balcony was exploited during a student protest when many students went at the start of the lunch rush hour, each ordered a BigMac and, eating the thing on the way up the stairs, went to the railing and puked onto the packed crowd below.

McDonald's is extremely popular in Poland. Except all the portions are about 1/4 the size they are here in the U.S.

Being Norwegian, don't you eat lutefisk? Why would I take fastfood recommendations from people who eat rotted fish stew?
