After having seen Death Proof myself, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Don't get me wrong, I liked most parts of that movie fairly well, but sometimes it just felt like Tarantino was trying to be TOO much Tarantino, and as we all know .. too much of a good thing never ends well.An artist that has gotten high on his own method of doing things and continually repeats it has become pretentious, he doesn't seek to further himself, only his fame.. and I certainly hope that isn't the case with Tarantino here. He's made quite a few neat movies, but these last ones are showing a dangerous trend towards having only this kind of dialogue and gratuitous violence without any particular plot twists, and that's not the way to impress the fans. That's simply the way to get them bored.. and reading this intro, I can say that I AM bored already.Edit: spell check ftw :(
Per Seth Rogen, Jews got laid because of Eric Bana in Munich. If that is the case, then Jews are going to be having 70’s era Hugh Hefner style orgies because of the eight badasses of Tarantino’s INGLORIOUS BASTERDS!favorite quote from the review
Royale with Cheese,It's AVARY with two A's.Your fanboy alias should be spelled ROYALE, with an "e" at the end.And that line, your alias, was written by...yes, you guessed it, Roger Avary.I'm not defending his entire body of work here. Even Ridley Scott has a few clunkers on his resume. And I'm not disputing that, with a great script in hand, I LOVE some of Quentin's directing efforts...really love them. What I am doing is just setting the record straight with regards to Tarantino's issue with taking credit for writing work that was NOT his. Which should answer questions many people have as to why his early films are so stunning, and his latter work has been so abysmally disappointing in comparison.

I like his acting as long as it's a small part.

I find it hard to believe that a Tarantino script would use "there" instead of "they're" or "debit" instead of "debt."
