burbia.com — Thought-provoking piece by a former CNN Sr writer/producer. Author doesn't support Palin at all--but she IDs for herself what she felt was her own double standard she applied to Palin on the "kids"-parenting issue. Interesting personal take.I don't agree with all of it. But smart, personal--quick--& authentic.

You missed the whole point of the article, but nice bashing on Palin and her husband.

You are completely wrong. Every politician shows off their family. Just because she admits one of her roles in life, as a wife and mother, doesn't mean you can slam her with mean spirited attacks about motherhood. Family is not fair game in politics, just ask your buddy Obama.

I did find it hilarious how it was the liberal "free thinking" crowd that lambasted her for not staying in the kitchen. Leave it up to the group who re-legalized racism (affirmative action) to have such closed minded ideas.
