I tried it on someone's laptop (Vista Home Basic). Even the boot sound lags. I get annoyed by fullscreen popup (UAC) trying to install softwares.Even the new start menu is POC. Too small, and I have too much softwares...Best keep XP...
boot sound: must be a driver issue.start menu: revert it to the XP style (you didn't read the article huh?)UAC: has its reasons. Vista has to cater to dumb users who get malicious programs on the computer without even realizing it.

functions is quite impressive than you might imagine, i dunno how ill live by going back to xp now that ive been using vista's search function for like ALL the time. feels like a spoiled brat, u just get what you want and fast
