everything2.com — Many of us diggers would rather use the computer in our spare time rather than working out. The following is a good guide to help us find our "inner-world's strongest man" and to help us silence the call of the video games...if that's possible.

Stop digging all day, stop playing WoW and lift some? Bogus. I digg all day, I play WoW at night, and I still lift in the mornings before work. You can do all 3, they aren't mutually exclusive. But it is a mental thing, sometimes its not easy getting up in the morning to workout after a late night WoW session.

I'm willing to bet geeks generally know a lot more about working out than most people think. I for one can't catch, hit or throw a ball to save my life, which is exactly why I go to a gym.

This guide is definitely not something I would follow.Crunches WILL work if you're holding your ab muscles (not with your hands, flex them or make them tense), but you only need to lift off the ground to a 30 - 45 degree angle. They only workout your upper abdomincal muscles, too.
