What about Routers , Firewalls?many routers are based on Open Source derivatives , Many Firewalls are based Linux flavor as well.

Very true. I imagine most networking equipment is somehow dependent on open source.

I thought this post was well-written, and concise. With his extensive knowledge and experience, the author could've easily written something more comprehensive given the opportunity, but I think there are a few limiting factors. Great job!

Dont' forget that many sites would be gibberish since 40% of them are written in or include php, the open source scripting language.
