tokyo-vr.com— This site is amazing, I love the interface, it's right out of the movies. Now if they only had this for every major city in the world. Maybe Apple could rollout a killer VR city walktrough with Google.

@idioticBug Don't know whether you can read Japanese or not, but in case you can't, what the Japanese you posted says is simply that too many people are accessing the site. I'm sure it will die down in a day or so.
"Maybe Apple could rollout a killer VR city walktrough with Google."it's only a start, but Google has a similar thing already in Google earth - turn on 3d buildings and cruise round at street level, with the map tilted to 90 from how you normally view it. detail is gradually being added to make the buildings more realistic
You've discovered what we call a seam. These images are often created by "stitching" a series of still images. The problems are that 1) edges don't always meet because of the lens distortion (which ever lens has some) and 2) people move. re> the lady handing out change... scroll down and you can see feet that were not properly photo-shopped out. In the about page, they themselves call this a "reckless project". This is not an Apple, Inc project. They've got a nice interface though with BIG, full screen images. Good work. http://kytours.com

Move the camera, wait until no people in the viewfinder, click... repeat until UR back at the beginning. In the about page, they themselves call this a "reckless project". This is not an Apple, Inc project. Too low quality photography. You would not see the seams. Still, They've got a real nice interface though with BIG, full screen images. Good work.
