We sure as hell didn't seem to think that Barney up there was "sick in the head" when he was making a major push for reform in federal marajana laws. In fact it was quite the contrary he acctualy seemed to have our praise. Just watch out where you are s**tting today because you may be where you are eating tommorow. On the other hand.....I agree with many of you that this is a disgusting display of corperate greed and the influence those same corperations can have on washington when they need it, not to mention the hipocracy of it all as these corperations are the very same that preech the idea of minimal governemnt interference in bussiness. Laissez-faire they say. They sure as hell don't seem to hold those same values when their stock prices drop 80% in a single quarter. The dow droped more than $700 today.I hope wallstreet implodes. I could give a f**k less if this puts us in Great Depression 2.0, at the very least it would teach everone a lesson.?2
Our system is broken. I am dead sure of this and I don't think that civil unrest is a bad thing. I just hope some of you who speak in favor of it back it up.Not saying arm yourselves here, just a saying."Don't point a gun at someone unless you are willing to pull the trigger."If you folks think this is broken, get out there. Tell everyone you can why you think this is wrong, build a movement, get momentum, and never take no for an answer. This would be the best thing for this country. I am only 19 and I am absolutely ashamed of my generation. I am surrounded by a good many peers who are devoid of any understanding of our system. Lacking a strong work ethic. Only caring about trivial matters like whether or not they can get their Starbucks coffee in the morning, or whether their hair looks good. They don't get out their and try to make things better. They are content to ride on their parent's and grandparent's success as long as they can. They will ride it all the way until they ride it into the ground. I'm disgusted by what our people have become. I am disgusted by how broken our system has become. I don't want to stand for it any more.I know things are much worse in other countries. I know people will say things like how people who think this are ungrateful. I'm not ungrateful. I am disappointed. I am disappointed because I know I now live in the nation of lost potential.Let's get it back.
Lets guess, from your "slowly typed list"....1 - Already happened2 - They've stopped lending even with bailout money3 - Interest rates lowered4 - Retirement funds, a good chunk are already gone since passing the bailout5 - Second great depression, ha, try a first "global depression"Read up some before spouting off that inane bulls**t you just typed above, son.
